Trolling for trophy Striped
Bass in the Chesapeake Bay. Fishing the middle
Chesapeake gives us perfect access to the migration path of
those large cow Stripers....
**Season
typically starts in 3rd week of April and the days fill up
quick for the 1st week, so book your trip soon for some great
Striper action. |

May
Chesapeake Bay through Mid-May
trolling for the large Stripers.
I will be moving my boat back to Indian River Marina, DE in
Mid-May.
A hot Tuna Bite can be had in
May, depending on water temps and eddys that move into the
Canyons. Being flexible this time of year can result in
a boat full of tuna.
Late May- Thresher Sharks move into the Inshore
lumps. A short run for the chance at some very large
Thresher Sharks. |
June
Sharks are the prime
target in June. Makos and Threshers are the target
species.
Trolling for Bluefish In-Shore
Bluefin Tuna is the primary
target!!! Trolling inshore lumps at slow speeds is the
ticket to try for those 200lb bruisers....
